As a big fan 0000 Martin guitars, the Custom Shop Jorma Kaukonen is probably the current favourite. It has been tastefully spec’d by the man himself and certainly covers a ton of ground.
This guitar features an Italian alpine spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, a mahogany neck, a bound ebony fingerboard, and an ebony bridge. The neck is 1 3/4” wide at the nut and the profile is 0.89" at the first fret and 1.20” at the twelfth fret. These guitars are constructed with forward shifted scalloped bracing and an enlarged 4 5/16” sound hole with a style 45 rosette in select abalone pearl. It has open gear Mart in tuners, a custom abalone headstock, a modern “V” neck shape, and a scale length of 25.4".
This guitar has been played sparingly in a home studio and is in mint condition. It is the perfect addition to any Martin lover’s collection. Whether you’re wanting a Martin to cover a ton of genres or looking to add 0000 to the lineup, this one is it!
This guitar includes its original hardshell case.
