The AVRI series of instruments have become a standard within the music industry because of their ability to recreate the incredible tones of the sought after Fender guitars of the 50’s and 60’s.
The Fender American Vintage Reissue is about as close your going to get to an original with out breaking the bank to fund a Custom Shop. They feature an Ash Body, One-Piece Maple neck with a 7.25” radius and two vintage-correct single-coil pickups.
This is the first year of Fender’s redesign that lasted until 2017. For this version, Fender disassembled several original 1952 Telecasters to create the most accurate reissue ever. The pickups were reworked for the most period-correct voicing to date. The finish is lighter and they went back to the chunkier neck profile with rolled edges.
This example is great overall shape. It has been played sparingly in a home studio environment. It is setup well and sounds AWESOME! It will include it’s original tweed case which is in good shape.
The body is in great shape. Just a couple of minor surface scratches near the upper bout of the body. There is very little fret wear and the neck is beautiful shape.
