Kendrick Amplifiers is a boutique builder out of Texas that has built amps for the likes of Eric Clapton, Jimmy Vaughan, Carlos Santana and many others.
The Rig is a 50’s 5E3 style tube amp with about 35 watts that is powered by a pair of 5881 tubes. There is a pair of 12AX7’s in the preamp stage and a GZ34 for the rectifier. It has four inputs, two for the Normal channel and two for the Brite. There are individual channel volume controls, but like early Fender Deluxes, the tone stack is shared. The speaker is the amp’s original Kendrick Green Frame 12 inch model.
This example has been well cared for and was owned by a professional. It functions perfectly and the pots are whisper quiet. This is a FANTASTIC sounding amp and is great size that will work for most any gig. It's a great platform for pedal users, but also works well on its own. Great for someone that loves a good Tweed Deluxe, but wants a little more headroom.
