Gone are the days of lugging around your 100-watt combo or half stack. Small amps have become the new standard in live or studio amps with a Princeton Reverb being at the top of that list.
This example is very clean and is mostly original. This one was played sparingly and has been meticulously cared for. This amplifier dates to 1968 and is the first year of the Silverface Princeton. The original speaker is in fabulous condition and sounds incredible. All the tubes are original or NOS.
The amplifier has had its output transformer changed with a high quality Mercury Magnetics unit, but the original is included with the sale. It would need to be rebuilt in order to use.
I am reluctantly selling this piece, but I don’t personally need a Princeton of this quality or condition. Hoping to find a great new home for it.
